Owner and Technical Director

Dakota Brown is the owner of Bear Mountain Mechanical Services LLC and  brings over 15 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a primary focus on commercial systems, diagnostics, and operational execution.

His career began in residential oil heat service before transitioning into the commercial HVAC sector, where he has spent the majority of his time working across multiple areas of the industry, including distribution, contracting, and technical education.

Throughout his career, Dakota has worked directly in the field as a service technician, developed solutions for complex system challenges, managed projects through execution, and led commercial service operations across a range of environments.  This experience provides a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems from installation and startup through long-term operation, maintenance, and optimization.

His experience includes working with a wide variety of complex systems such as VRF and VRV systems, boiler plants, chiller systems, VAV systems, and custom air handling applications across commercial, industrial, and specialized environments.

Outside of work, Dakota is a husband and father of five, rooted in the Lehigh Valley area.  Family remains a central influence in his approach to accountability, discipline, and the responsibility that comes with serving customers and partners.

Operations and Financial Administration

Katie supports the administrative and financial operations of Bear Mountain Mechanical Services, ensuring organization and consistency across all service work.

She oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable, scheduling, dispatch and billing coordination, maintaining clear communication and structured processes from initial contact through project completion.

In previous roles, Katie has supported high-level operations, coordinated complex schedules, and managed large-scale events with significant logistical demands, including coordinating across multiple stakeholders and thousands of attendees.

Her background brings strong communication, organization, and coordination to the business, supporting consistent, well-executed service delivery.
